The latest Art @ Your Library exhibit features local artists Brad Fautsch and Tom Kedzie. Please join us for the opening reception on Friday, June 2, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Enjoy light refreshments and live entertainment by Northeast Iowa School of Music faculty.
This exhibit will display through July 24 during regular library hours. Artworks in this exhibit are also available for purchase.
About the Artists
Brad Fautsch is a mixed-media artist. He is featuring a series of works that arose from the pandemic period. These pieces of visual vocabulary are inspired by the natural and artificial worlds and the darkness of the “monolith.” Fautsch’s drawings reveal a changing reality in which fragments of consciousness speak to the viewer through layers of forgotten time.
Tom Kedzie calls himself a photo hobbyist. He enjoys sharing photos that deal with forgotten people and places. Kedzie randomly experiments with his photographs to create unique finished products. And as a former picture framer, he incorporates digital matting and framing around his photos to give a unified visual impact.
