Every other month, the library features the work of local artists or a local artist group in the historic rotunda for the Art @ Your library® exhibit. The exhibit is open to the public during regular library hours. Works of art are also available for purchase.
The current Art @ Your Library exhibit runs from April 1-May 24 and features local artists Marianne Black and Julie Ferring. Please join us for a special Artist Reception on Friday, May 6, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. where you can meet the artists, mingle, purchase available artworks, and enjoy light refreshments.
Here is a brief introduction with the featured artists:
Julie Ferring paints scenes of nature and realistic living landscapes. Don’t miss her pelican paintings, which seem to jump off the canvas and come to life.
