The Friends of the Carnegie-Stout Public Library typically host two book sale events each year. These sales feature thousands of items including fiction, history, biography, children’s books, graphic novels, audiobooks, and DVDs. They also offer a daily book sale section located in the historic wing on the second floor of the library.

Book Donations

We are accepting book donations that meet the following guidelines:

  • No general fiction, or romance genre books older than five years
  • In good condition (no writing, tape, yellowing, mold, or odor)
  • No text books, encyclopedias, or magazines

All books that are donated are reviewed and will either be added to the library collection or included in one of the bi-annual book sales. Donations to the Friends of the Carnegie-Stout Public Library are tax-deductible.
